Have you ever seen one of those nature documentaries where an impala is being chased by a tiger, and the impala tricks the tiger by 'playing dead' and miraculously survives? If you continue to watch the impala, you will see that after the tiger leaves, it goes through a stress release response which involves a period of shaking. After the shaking slows down and stops, the impala gets up and goes on about its day, as if nothing just happened!
We humans are the exact same as all other mammals in the wild. Every person (yes, including you!) has an in-built mechanism to release stored stress and tension so that it does not store in the body long term, and you can return back to balance and harmony after stressful situations.
